QUIT WORKING!

What if you were hired for a job that you aren't qualified for, imagine the stress you will go through just to meet up with the requirements which you might not be able to meet eventually. Time after time you would fail and in no time would realise that its only a matter of time before you are fired!
Most of us are trying to live a holy life by our own effort, but the truth is that you have not received the power to become a child of God. Romans 6vs23: for the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life. We are flawed because of the sins of Adam and Eve our first parents and anyone that is born into this world is born in sin until such a person receives Christ into her life. No matter how hard you try to do good, its not good enough until you give your life to Jesus.
God has done something incredible for us, He offers us everything we don't deserve because Jesus took our sins and nailed it at the cross. God offers to bless us on the basis of what Jesus did for us instead of what we have done.
Romans 4vs4-5: now to a labourer, his wages are not counted as a favor or a gift but an obligation. But to one who is not working but trusts in Him  who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited to him as righteousness! Hard to believe, too wonderful to be true!
The way to please God is to admit that you deserve the paycheck of eternal damnation and then accept the gift that Christ earned for us.
By His life, death and resurrection, Jesus made it possible for us to be forgiven of all our failures and mistakes and to be credited with Christ success, to receive eternal life and to be able to please God.
Its time to quit trying on your own to serve God.
Its time you accept the free gift of righteousness.
It is time to lay hold on the unmerited favour of God, for Jesus has qualified you for that blessing!
Its time you lay down your life at His feet, for His love for you is everlasting!

PRAYER: OH LORD, I LAY DOWN MY LIFE AT YOUR FEET AND I RECIEVE GRACE TO OVERCOME MY MOUNTAINS THROUGH THE ATONING SACRIFICE OF JESUS CHRIST FOR ME AT THE CROSS IN JESUS NAME.
